Who we are

What we collect

• When you browse: technical data such as your IP address and browser type, needed to deliver and secure the site.
• When you request a guide or newsletter: your email address and language. You confirm by email and can unsubscribe at any time.
• When you buy a service: your name, email, what you bought and the details we need to deliver it, such as your company name and tax ID. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
• When you use the client portal: your company details, filings, documents and messages.

Why we use it

• To deliver the services you ordered (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To meet tax and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• To send newsletters you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw consent at any time.
• To keep the site secure and to tell clients about similar services (Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time.

Who we share it with

We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, payments, email and automation. They process data only on our instructions and under data processing agreements. Where needed to deliver your service, or where the law requires it, we also share data with authorities, registered agents or tax advisers. We never sell your data.

Some providers are outside the EU, including in the United States. These transfers are protected by the EU’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser stores only what the site needs to work, such as your language choice and, if you use the client portal, your sign-in. Some fonts and icons load from external content networks, which see your IP address.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to deliver your service, then as long as tax law requires (up to 10 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Security

All connections are encrypted, the client portal uses one-time sign-in links instead of passwords, and access to client data is limited to our team.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, take it with you, or withdraw consent. Email hello@offshoresociety.io and we’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We update this statement when our services change. The date at the top shows the current version.
